Every month we look at the library and bookstores for new books to read. It has always been a fun adventure. You find new authors and new books from favorite authors.
You never know what you might find you have never read before. When we visit the library we will often ask about what new books have come in. Then we go looking for the books.
This month’s book was all ones the librarian told us to read!

Transportation
is a fun books we found by Gail Gibbons. We just love her books. This book has loads of details about different types of transportation. I love the colorful art work and presentation on each page.
Ned the Knitting Pirate
is great fun to read! I love books about things that are different and funny. I love to knit and my girls love that their grandma knits. They found this book enjoyable because knitting saves the day!
Some Pets
is a great book for learning new words to decraibe pets. We love the book Some Bugs (Classic Board Books)
. It is the same with pets. It is a great book to read and see the different pets and words you can use. The last page has the names for all the different pets in the book.
Six Dots: A Story of Young Louis Braille
is a great book to learn about history of braille. We loved reading through the book. There are so many different ways to learn. Plus it is a great idea to learn how the blind can read. There is a story about Louis Braille and also some historical facts at the end of the book. There is also a copy of the letters you can look at as well. It was neat to see how it all came about!
A Perfect Day
is great to see that ones persons idea of perfect is not always someone elses. We love reading about the cat, the dog, the bird, the squirrel and the bear.
Bird, Balloon, Bear
is about a bird that wants to make a new friend but is to shy. It shows that making friends is not always easy but you don’t give up.
Hello, Mr. Dodo!
a fun book about Martha who loves birds! She loves to look for them and write them down. Then she see a dodo! It can’t be. She has a fun time learning about the dodo and then people find out about her dodo. They want to see it. Oh what can she do! We loved the story and so glad they told us to grab the book.
