Black Cat Themed Array Cards & Worksheets
Halloween is so much fun with so many different themes. I know we enjoy black cats as a theme and so do many other people!
Today I have some free black cat array cards and worksheets. I love changing up the themes as kids learn. There are so many ways to use arrays.
This mini set is to help kids that are struggling with arrays or review for older kids with a mix of different recording sheets that go with the cards!
I love having math centers to work on different ideas. The multiplication and division sometimes take loads of review to do them. I love having different ways to work on it in different themes during the year.
These cards and matching worksheets are great for that. You make the cards once and use them as often as you need. Plus you have five different worksheets to use with them. Yup 5 worksheets to work on different levels of learning.
There are 12 sets of cards. They work on numbers 1 to 12 with different arrays. I often laminate
How we use the cards with the worksheets
There are 5 worksheets. There are two that work with rows and columns. This helps the beginning learner for arrays. You can do how many in rows and columns with word problems to fill in.
You can see below how the rows and columns without the word can be filled in.
The next worksheets allow you to work on writing the multiplication or division sentence two ways. You can write that 5 x 8 = 4 or 8 x 5 = 40. The division you write 40 ÷ 8 = 5 and 40 ÷ 5 = 8.
The last worksheets are working on all the math facts together for the arrays. So you can write out all the ways of multiplication and division for the cards.
