ABC Sensory Bin
Last year about this time we had a Button Sensory Bin. We loved it. Now we have a slight take on part of it with an ABC Sensory Bin.
We have been using these buttons and letter tiles forever. It was just after Halloween my youngest walks up with the alphabet buttons
What you need: Big Bag of Buttons: Alphabet
She played with this bin for over a week. She loves it. She likes matching tiles to buttons. She would also gather all button and tiles in the cup and then name the letters as she pulled them out.
A second activity we did with this was match up the letters to the ABCs on the page. I used the ABC Dot Marker Upper case for this. I printed all the pages on one page.
I also had my youngest pull out the letters in her name. It was great for looking for letters and learning name. Then putting the letters in order.
Sensory bins are fun and some times it is fun just exploring what is in the bin and not worrying about anything else.

What a fun sensory bin. I love that your daughter came up with the whole thing herself. I should give my kids more opportunities to do that because their ideas would probably be better than mine. 🙂
Ha ha! Is it a sign of using sensory bins a lot when your kids start making them up themselves? My daughter puts one together every now and then – I love that initiative! Thanks for sharing this letter bin -my daughter is very interested in letters right now and will love this idea.
Hi, I really like the alphabet sensory table. This activity encourages letter recognition in a fun way. I can’t seem to find the A through Z dot printable that is shown in the photos above. I would like to print it to use with my sensory play.

When I click the link that is just above the picture, it says “page not found.” When I click the link that you provided, I do see the individual dot pages for upper and lower case letters, but not the page that has the entire alphabet that is shown in the pictures. Am I doing something wrong here? LOL
In that post there is a link to where you can download them. Everything is on a download page. Look for the link that says “Click here to download the ABC Dot Marker Upper & Lower Case” That will take you to the page where you can download them.
Okay, when I click the link, “Click here to download the ABC Dot Marker Upper & Lower Case” there are four choices: “ABC Upper Case Dot” “ABC Upper Case Dot & Trace Letter” “ABC Lower Case Dot” and “ABC Lower Case Dot Trace Letter.” I scrolled through each one of those pages, but still did not see the page that appears above that the little girl is working on with the alphabet manipulatives. Thanks for updating the link; I was able to go to the page from there.
As stated in the post I printed them all on one page. That is an option you can use in pdfs. You can print more than one page on a paper. So I worked until I had all 26 letters on the paper and printed them. There is not one pdf will all of them on it.
