ABC Dot Fine Motor Activity
Looking for a great fine motor skill and also teaches you writing your ABCs at the same time? Then you have to try this out.
Recently we did the ABC Sensory Bin and I printed out the all the Upper Case ABCs Dot Markers on one paper for the activity. My middle girl asked if she could do something with it. So I gave her a challenge. To use it like a dot marker page but with markers!
What you need: markers
How to Print all on one page Directions:
- Pages to print: Pages 2 to 27
- Page Size & Handling: Multiple
- Pages per sheet: Custom 9 by 3
- Page Order: Horizontal
- Orientation: Landscape
Amelia took the markers and slowly put a small dot with the point on each of the circles on the letters. She did part way through say it was hard, but kept doing it.
Here is a look at the finish project. It took her a bit to do it, but it made her slow down and do the project very slowly.

I’d like to know how it is your child has such fabulous pencil grip? Mine is 5 and still wants to palm grasp writing implements.
It is something we have worked on. We have done lots of painting with q-tips and other small items. We pinched playdough and clay like items to build strength. Then bigger pencils and markers help when first starting out. We have also used triangle crayons.
